Parker's journey in tennis has inspired me. To see the resiliance, determination and goals he is settng for himself and everyday taking steps to achieve it, just makes my heart smile.
Some may say he has his work cut out for him since he didn't pick up a racquet until he was 12, didn't start to take regular lessons until COVID stuck the end of March 2020, played in his first tournament in July 2020 and broke his arm 2 days before Christmas and was out of tennis for 8+ weeks only to be able to return to tournaments in April 2021. He has asked himself the same questions and he always comes back around to, I can do it. He knows when he goes to tournaments he plays kids that have had lessons and played for many years, some since they were toddlers. But he knows what he wants. He eats, sleeps, breathes tennis and despite the short time, his determination is boundless.
I believe in him. We are grateful for all the people who do too!
